Sophisticated style - but make it sustainable

How does bamboo go from stem to suit?
It’s a complex process but it starts by stripping the plant and crushing it to make bamboo pulp, which creates an almost mushy consistency. This is then poured through a filter to produce long fibres, combining water and amine oxide to soften these fibres, before then spinning them into a yarn which can be weaved much in the same way conventional fabrics are.
Clients are always surprised when I pull out my bamboo fabric swatches and find that it’s soft, luxurious to the touch but ruggedly resilient to wear and tear. Naturally, I’m proud to only stock the very finest bamboo for beautifully fitting and feeling suits:
Huddersfield Fine Worsteds.
Based in West Yorkshire and with a state-of-the-art mill in Italy, HFW is an premier fabric manufacturer that’s internationally renowned. They supply some of the world's biggest design houses and most prestigious tailors, like me.
A natural fit with my vegan range, the premier fabric provider has three unique collections of bamboo fabrics, ranging from weddings and business wear to more casual looks. Comparable to cashmere in its incredible quality, in HFW’s own words, the fabric “exhibits a silky lustre and excellent tailorability” - which makes it a natural fit for me and, of course, for you.
